CSA is happy to welcome a great turn-out to the in-person Roundtable at the Newark Liberty Airport Marriott on September 9th.

Many steps have been taken by CSA and the Marriott to assure the comfort, health and safety of every attendee during this ongoing pandemic.

Message from Marriott:

As we welcome you back to our hotels around the world, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19. Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, our Marriott Cleanliness Council is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and associates. Consistent with the most recent CDC guidance - fully vaccinated guests and associates are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel, unless required by local law. We ask that unvaccinated guests and associates continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

Additionally, in order to help alert those around you to your personal comfort level, CSA will provide colored sticker dots at the registration desk. Attendees will have the option of selecting a color dot to place on their badge to indicate whether they prefer a six-foot distance (red dot), a distanced greeting (yellow dot) or a full handshake or hug (green dot).

CSA is aware that every attendee has unique reasons that determine their comfort level with human interaction. Please use whichever colored dot fits your current life and living situation to let others know the caution level you prefer.

According to the CDC and as always, fully vaccinated people should not visit private or public settings if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the prior 10 days or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Fully vaccinated people should continue to follow any applicable laws, rules and regulations.
